姓氏起源[edit]

楚汉相争时，刘邦派侯公前往说服项羽，双方约定以鸿沟为界，中分天下，鸿沟以西归汉，以东归楚。[2] 事后，刘邦封侯公为平国君。[2] 侯公受封后，其后人遂以“安国”为姓；另有一说，其封号为安国君。[1]
