How this site works, step by step and with pictures. Start with making a genealogy and building it together.

Make a genealogy in minutes

Follow the Start a genealogy wizard: an account, the place and surname, the founder, your family - four steps.

Post the family code in your family's group chat, and relatives who enter it can help fill it in; you approve every change.

Add children and spouses, correct details, and write a short biography of an ancestor.

Find a genealogy by surname (in characters or pinyin) and place; find a person by name, courtesy name or pinyin.

A genealogy's front page, the chart, a person's page, its statistics, and how two people are related.

Make a typeset PDF of the genealogy or a long chart image, and share pages with relatives.

Its settings, who can see it, how changes are reviewed, and its administrators.
