姓氏起源[edit]
一说，昆姓出自夏朝的诸侯国昆吾。昆吾相传是陆终的一个儿子，陆终是祝融的后代。[1]
古书中也有以国名为氏的说法。《元和姓纂》《通志》等书认为，昆姓由国名演变而来。《广韵》则称昆吾为夏朝的诸侯国。[1] 《姓解》认为，“昆”“吾”与“昆吾”各自成为姓氏，共有三支。[1]
