一说，栗姓出自上古的栗陆氏。相传女娲所封的十三个氏族都姓风，栗陆氏排第四，其中一部分后人以栗为姓。[1]
另一说，栗姓出自商朝的栗国，故地在今河南夏邑县。栗国后来被周所灭，其后人以国名为氏。[1]
迁徙分布[edit]
栗姓以河南为主要分布地，其次为河北、山西、安徽、陕西。[1]
