与贺赖的关系[edit]
《魏书》将贺兰与贺赖分列为两姓，一说二者实为一族。田余庆认为，拓跋氏初兴时贺兰多有勋绩，贺赖则无可言，故贺赖即贺兰，《魏书》的分列是魏收考订不审。[1][2]
《贺讷传》载讷之弟名卢，《宋书》《晋书》等书皆作「贺赖卢」，可知贺兰即是贺赖。[1]
